Transportation & Parking
Complimentary Shuttle Services
This year, we’ve doubled the number of shuttles and pick-up locations, each with accessible accommodation. Shuttles stop at all satellite parking locations during the event. Pick-up and arrival times will vary based on rider volume and demand.
Satellite parking locations:
- Larchmont Library (6525 Hampton Blvd)
- Second Presbyterian Church (7305 Hampton Blvd)
- WHRO Public Media/Old Dominion University lot (5200 Hampton Boulevard)
Parking Information
- There will be no on-site parking available on the grounds.
- A limited number of accessible parking spaces will be available across from the front gate.
- Ample street parking is available in the Lochhaven neighborhood.
- When parking in the neighborhood, please be sure to observe all parking signage and ensure that your vehicle is not blocking driveways and walkways.
General Information
- Well-behaved dogs on leashes are permitted.
- Bike riding is not permitted throughout the event. Bikes are to be walked past the main gate and secured at the bike rack by the museum buildings.
- Membership sign-ups will be available on site and donations to the Hermitage Museum are encouraged at the entrance. Thank you in advance for your support!
Norfolk ZineFest at the 9th Annual Hermitage Handmade Festival
This year, we’ve extended the festivities to the newly-renovated Goode Family Visual Arts School to include artist demonstrations, art-making activities – and the 9th Norfolk ZineFest! Join from 11-4 pm to explore the ZineFest magic, including: a Zinester market (featuring zines, comics, prints, and weird and wonderful creations), a hands-on zine-making workshop, on-location screen-printing by Studio Shift @studioshft, and a Community Table to display your own Zines!
